Balloon-High-Definition-Desktop-Mobile-wallpapers.stillmaza.com-3One day, a child saw an old man selling a balloon that could soar high up in the air. He was fascinated so, the next day he bought himself a simple balloon and inflated it, with the hope that his balloon would also soar. Alas, the balloon, with the hopes went crashing to the ground. So, he went to see the old man and asked about the secret of his balloons. “It’s easy”, answered the old man. “The difference is in the inner part. You use air from your lungs but I use helium!”

Thus, this is the distinction between humans. Externally, we may look the same but internally, each individual is unique. It is the internal aspect that determines whether an individual crashes into the valley of disgrace or soars high up towards greatness. To ‘fly’ towards greatness, humans need a special ‘helium’. This ‘helium’ is takwa. In the chapter al-Hujurat, verse 13, Allah says, “O mankind! We have created you from a male and female, and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know one another. Verily, the most honourable of you with Allah is that (believer) who has Takwa. Verily, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware.”
